Elizabeth Taylor met Mike Todd, and within moments was mesmerized by him. A week later he told her that he was going to marry her. He did not ask her. She wondered if he was a lunatic. She had never met anyone quite like him and he stole her heart. There were major differences between them. She was the mother of two children, living a relatively simple life as a screen actress; he was a jet setter, constantly traveling the world. They were not of the same religion. He had a temper and taught her to have one and to live life as a grown woman. Of course, Elizabeth's parents were concerned about how this life would affect their daughter, and the life they had with her...living nearby, almost neighbors. But, Elizabeth loved her unconventional angel, and her entire life changed with him it. Sadly, he passed away but she never stopped loving him, nor, I suspect...will she! less
