風速高達225公里的強風橫掃佛州!!氣壓值912百帕!!幾乎跟海棠颱風一樣強!!!佛州千瘡百孔 颶風威爾瑪於10月17日在西加勒比海牙買加西南方形成。在10月19日成為有紀錄以來最猛烈的大西洋颶風，風速達每小時185英里（每小時295公里），中心氣壓為882百帕斯卡。該颶風移動緩慢，於10月22日以4級颶風強度在金塔納羅奧州登陸，坎昆及科蘇梅爾島受到嚴重破壞。威爾瑪重返墨西哥灣後，在古巴北方掠過，以3級颶風強度在10月24日吹襲佛羅里達州南部，然後進入大西洋，成為溫帶氣旋。威爾瑪直接造成22人死亡；總經濟損失達160至200億美元，大多損失都在美國、墨西哥、及古巴。 less
