To fully engage your team, there are three important things you must remember. Fear steals commitment. For some, sharing thoughts and suggestions is very difficult. A fear of judgment will stop your individual team members from openly speaking his or her mind. In situations where individual rewards, promotions, or competition for resources exist, a fear of a lack of enough to go around will cause internal conflict in a group.
