For over two decades,Dame Elizabeth Taylor has been responsible for raising almost one half of a billion dollars in the fight against AIDS throughout the world. Without these precious funds, the mortality rate for AIDS would have been much higher, quality of life for AIDS sufferers would be more dismal and we would not be entering into an era of renewed hope. If we cannot cure AIDS, then prolonging the long term depilating affects for thirty years may be the next best thing, for now. Throughout this short musical clip, magnified images of the HIV virus float along video segments reminding us that something so deadly is smaller than the naked eye can see. So many of us owe our lives and the transition into an era of hope to Dame Elizabeth for possessing the determination and fortitude of allowing no stone to go unturned in the battle against AIDS and we owe her so much more than words could ever express. by Richard Bassett less
