Now watching Up nextA New Speedster Joins 'Flash,' Yep, Another One
On The Flash, Dr. Wells and his daughter Jesse returned from Earth-2 to reveal that Jesse is a speedster just like Flash, Reverse Flash, Zoom, Kid Flash, and The Rival (just to name a few). Apparently the dark matter that struck Jesse and Wally last season finally caused one of them to gain superpowers. Jesse came back to Earth-2 so she could run some speed tests while her dad said "Not" jokes, which were popular in the mid 1990's. It's a good thing they came back because Quick Jesse, as her father call's her, was an integral part of fighting off the new villain, Magenta. Magenta was an abused foster child who Alchemy transformed into a metahuman with the ability to control metals. With Quick Jesse's help, Barry was able to stop Magenta from crushing a hospital with a giant tanker. So it looks like there is gonna be a new speedster running around Central City for a while.

Now watching Up next'This Is Us' Recap: Awkward and Heartfelt Moments
On Tuesday's This Is Us, the family in the 1970's headed to the pool to relax. However, the family in the present day dove into some awkward situations. Kevin, having landed in New York with plans to become a stage actor, gave nothing less than a cringeworthy audition. Kate found that Toby's ex-wife was very attractive so she did the logical thing and stalked her all the way to her clothing boutique. While there, Kate accidentally interviewed for a position at the store with his ex. She let on way too much information that she'd gathered but somehow got the job. Randall had a heart-to-heart with his biological father, William, that ended with William apologizing for Randall's entire childhood. Almost in mid-confession, the two were interrupted by Kevin trying to crash at Randall's house. With William standing with Randall's family, Randall said, "This is my biological father. Whom I looked for, and I found, and this is him." Kevin shook his hand and replied, "That probably is gonna be a longer conversation, but it's good to meet you."

Now watching Up nextNick Offerman Gets Very Intimate with Wood
On Tuesday's The Late Show, Nick Offerman shared his deeply held thoughts about wood. Offerman revealed to Colbert, "The older I get the more my intimacy with wood consumes a large part of my day." Apparently, that large part of his day is spent anthropomorphizing types of wood. So, Stephen Colbert brought out some samples of wood and asked the Parks and Recreation star and woodshop owner what he thought about them. About mahogany, Offerman mused, "It's like royalty. If you respect it, you will not be punished." For cedar, he said, "Cedar is like a dependable hippie." He explained that it's light, strong, and like a hippie, fragrant. Finally, Offerman described maple. He said, "Maple is what I call the valedictorian of the cabinet woods." Hopefully, Offerman's next book follows the tales of his wood characters as they get together to fight crime or at least become a canoe.
